Mrs. Townsend Succumbs; Rites In Alexandria

Mrs. Helen J. Townsend, 87, of Georgetown, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday, April 6,
1970, in an Alexandria hospital.

She is survived by her husband, William W. Townsend of Georgetown, and five
sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hawthorne of Georgetown, Mrs. Louise Lovell of Winnfield,
Mrs. Ella Foster of Colfax, Mrs. Nettie Tingle  of Natchitoches, and Mrs.
Mattie Cox of Verda.
