Geraldine T. Tyler
DRY PRONG -- Graveside services for Geraldine Tarter Tyler will be at 11
a.m. Thursday in Dry Prong Cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Whitman officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville. Mrs. Tyler, 63,
of Houston, Texas, died Monday, May 10, 1999 in Southwest Care Center,
Houston. She was a native of Dry Prong; a member of First Baptist Church,
Dry Prong and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James Tyler of
Houston; children and grandchildren, including a daughter, Vickie M.
Mitchell of Pineville; her mother, Vivian A. Tarter of Dry Prong; two
brothers, Waynon "Jack" Tarter of Shreveport and Donn M. Tarter of Dry Prong
and one sister, Betty T. DeWitt of Dry Prong.
