ALMER EUGENE VINSON , 80 of Alexandria, died at 12:46 p.m. Saturday in
Alexandria. he was retired Colfax School Bus Driver, member of Horseshoe
Drive Methodist Church and native of Jackson Parish. 

Survivors include his wife Georgia Preuett Vinson of Alexandria; six sons,
Emory Vinson of Alexandria, Virgil Vinson Sr of Monroe, Junior Vinson of Jena,
Wayne Vinson of New Jersey, Ray Vinson of Bossier City and Jessie Vinson of
Crystal Springs Mississippi. One sister, Eula Carson of Jonesboro, 12
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the
Rev. Jack Winegeart officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
