Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment was in Beulah Cemetery, Georgetown under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Arliss Ray Williamson, Sr., 76, of Georgetown passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 in the Winn Parish Medical Center of Winnfield. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Glenda Driskill Williamson of Georgetown; one daughter, Mendy Turnbo and husband, Jeff of Ball; two step-daughters, Helen McBroom and husband, Randy of Sikes, and Gayle Bentry of Dry Prong; three sons, Ray Williamson and wife, Sheila of Georgetown, Tim Williamson and wife, Jamie of Georgetown, and John Williamson and wife, Dennette of Ball; one sister, Elsie Mae Self of Georgetown; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tommy Hand, Bobby Bruce, Ed Williams, Keith Pritchard, Marty Maloy, and Richie King.
