William Welch Jr., age 87 of Pineville (La.), a native of Colfax (La.), died
10 Aug 1996 in Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas. 

Survivors: Wife, Cornie (sic) Welch of Pineville.  4 Sons:  Stanley Welch of
Montgomery (La.); Jerry Welch of Pineville; Johnny Welch of Shreveport (La.);
Robert Welch of Arlington, Tx.  4 Daughters:  Lorene Desadier of Natchitoches
(La.); Corene Waters of Montgomery; Mary Bullitt of Deville (La.); Nelda
Hernandez of Shreveport (La.)  3 Brothers:  Evan Welch, Stanley Welch &
Lawrence Welch (residence not shown)  3 Sisters:  Minnie Chelette of
Mooringsport (La.); Odie (sic) Jones & Nancy Little, both of St. Maurice (La.)
32 Grandchildren,  33 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

 Services: Held at 3:30 pm. Tuesday in New Salem Baptist Church with burial in
St. Maurice Cemetery, near St. Maurice in Winn Parish under direction of Moore
Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
