He is the son of Gustave and Emily (Decuir) Delahoussaye, of this parish. As a boy Mr. Delahoussaye received the advantages of a good education. He commenced business for himself in 1889. He is a young man of energy and business thrift, and his success in life is assured. Mr. Delahoussaye was married, November 21, 1889, to Miss Theresa Romero, daughter of Devisin Romero and Mary Decuir, of Iberia parish. Politically Mr. Delahoussaye is a Republican.
