A Child Falls Into Boiling Water. Special to The Times-Democrat. New Iberia, Feb. 27. - Arthur Bernard, son of Mr. A. M. Bernard, was painfully and perhaps fatally scalded this evening. The child, together with its companions, was boiling crayfish in a large iron kettle, when suddenly little Arthur lost his balance and fell into the boiling water. A little girl of Mr. R. Broussard fortunately pulled Arthur out, thereby rescuing him from certain death. Medical aid was summoned, and the child is doing well, though suffering much.
