On Sunday evening last at the home of Mrs. L. G. Williams, East End, took 
place the christening of little Cornelius, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil 
Archer, their first born, by Rev. J. M. Langlois of St. Peter's Catholic 
Church. Mr. J. C. Rousseau of New Orleans, uncle of Mrs. Archer, stood as God-
father and its great grand-mother, Mrs. Alfred Duperier accepted the 
responsibilty of being its God-mother. The occasion of the christening 
afforded much pleasure to all those prestn.
