Hammond, La., Aug. 8. - Word came to Hammond late this evening by telephone that 
Mrs. Hagan and three children, who had sought refuge from a rainstorm in a 
school-house near Mount Hennen, about eight miles east, were struck by lightning 
and killed. Other parties who also entered the building were seriously injured by 
the shock.
