Among the deaths this week from Influenza of young men at cantonments who had given their all to the Nation from this Parish was Mr. Robert Hanley. Mr. Hanley died on Wednesday morning at Fort Leavensworth, Kansas. On Thursday morning the Local Exemption Board through Sheriff Landry received another wire from Camp Hancock, Ga. announcing the demise of Eddie Romero, a son of Mr. Seve Romero of the Fifth Ward of the Parish. On Monday evening the remains of Mr. Junius Delahoussaye who died at the above named place arrived here for interment which was held from St. Peter's Catholic church at 5:30 in the same afternoon. The body of Charles Walet of Loreauville is expected here this afternoon, after which it will be escorted to Loreauville to be escorted to Loreauville to be interred in the family burial grounds.
