The New Orleans papers of October 18th reported the death from Influenza of Mr. F. T. P. Allison, known generally by his acquaintances as "Pat." Mr. Allison was a native of New Iberia, and left here while in his teens to take up his residence with his mother in New Orleans. His family were related to the Broussard family of this Parish. Up to the time of enlisting in the army in the rank of Captain, Mr. Allison was the Scout Commissioner of the American Boy Scouts of New Orleans. He leaves to mourn his demise besides his widow and two children, several brothers and sisters. They are: John C. Allison, New Orleans; Tom J. Allison, Dallas, Texas; Chas. P. Allison of Indiana; Mrs. Scott S. Hubert of Meridian, Miss and Mrs. W. A. Turner of Forest, Miss.
