(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, October 15, 1921, Image 4 In the death of Mrs. Walter Angers, nee Georgina Greig at Touro Infirmary, New Orleans, on Thursday, October 13th at 3 o'clock P. M., New Iberia loses one of its most estimable and beloved Christian women. Deceased had been in failing health for a long period of years and was advised to undergo an operation as the past (sic) resort, and it ended with fatal results. Her unexpected death was a distinct shock to the people of this community. Mrs. Angers was a daughter of the venerable Mr. George Greig of Arnaudville and was the devoted mother of two daughters, and two young sons, both of the later only a short while ago entered a Seminary at Covington to study for the priesthood. One of her daughters recently joined a Convent at New Orleans, known as the Sisters of the Poor. Three of her children are teachers in the public schools of this Parish. Her brothers are Messrs. L. E. Greig, St. Martin; R. A. Greig, Baton Rouge; M. G. Greig, Ville Platte; G. P. Greig, cashier of the Bank of Baldwin and her sister was Miss Louise Greig of Arnaudville. To her bereaved and grief-stricken husband and children the Enterprise joins with others in extending condolences. The funeral was conducted from St. Peter's Catholic church on Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.
