DIED at the residence of his father in law Dr. Alfred Duperier, on St. Peters 
St., on Monday, 16th, at 6:30 a. m., William Reynolds Archer, born Feb 7th, 1846, 
at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois. The funeral took place from the Catholic 
Church on Tuesday March 17th, at 10 o'clock a m attended by a larger concourse of 
relatives and friends. Mr. Archer had been an invalid for many years. While 
enjoying the blessing of health he was an active and progressive citizen and had 
many friends and admirers.
