(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, January 08, 1916, Image 7 The remains of Mr. Fertie Armintor (sic) who died at Lake Charles on January 1st at seven o'clock A. M., were brought here for burial from St. Peter's Catholic church on Sunday morning at 11:46. Mr. Armintor (sic) was stricken with Typhoid fever in that City where he was engaged in blacksmithing business for several years. The epidemic of Typhoid at Lake Charles has beeen (sic) taken in charge by the State Board of Health and resulted so far in a large number of deaths. source: The Weekly Iberian. Lake Charles, La., Jan. 3 - Ferti Armintor (sic), a blacksmith, residing in Clarence street, died yesterday of typhoid fever. The body was sent to New Iberia, where Mr. Armintor resided until two years ago. He leaves a wife and seven children. - N. O. States. The funeral took place on Sunday morning from St. Peter's Catholic Church, New Iberia, at 11:15 o'clock.
