TWICE BEREAVED.

For the second time within a fortnight the family of Mr. L. V. Barthe has 
been bereaved. It will be remembered that but a few days ago his daughter 
Mrs. H. D. Fuller passed away. Last evening word was received that his son 
Alfred Usher Barthe had died in New Orleans. He passed away at half-past 
nine o'clock. Mr. Alfred Barthe was well known here and had many friends who 
will mourn his loss. He was born on October 1st, 1885. and had lived here 
nearly all his life. The funeral will be held from the residence of the 
family, 214 Ann street this afternoon at 5:30 o'clock.
