NECROLOGICAL.

DIED: At Lake Arthur, La., on Tuesday, June 25th, 1912, Cecil Clark Barth, 
the 7 months old baby of C. C. Barth and Annie Clark. The remains were 
brought to the home of Mr. J. J. Clark in this city on Wednesday. The 
funeral took place that afternoon at 5 o'clock from the residence.

This beautiful baby life was so precious, so frought with blessings to its 
parents that it seemed a flower of paradise, permitted to bloom for a brief 
season by their side, then recalled to its nature skies, leaving the earth 
road for them dark and lonely indeed.

Weep not for those whom the veil of the tomb
In life's happy morning hath hid from our eyes,
Ere sin threw a blight o'er the spirit's young bloom.
Or earth had profaned what was born for the skies.
