Mrs. Benoit Bayard, nee Euphemie Derouen, died on Sunday morning at her 
residence in East End. On Monday morning the funeral took place from St. 
Peter's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Bayard is survived by her husband, seven children, and three brothers, 
her children being Misses Agnes and Clelie Bayard, Mrs. Lewis Durocher, Mrs. 
G. J. Duplantis, Mrs. E. P. Pesson, Messrs. W. J. and L. Bayard, and her 
brothers being Mr. Cheri Derouen, Mr. Clovis Derouen, of this parish, and 
Mr. Unie Derouen, of Kaplan, La.
