PAUL EMILE BERGERIE.

On Sunday, June 20th, 1920 at 9:35 in the evening all that was mortal of 
Paul Emile Bergerie, the fourteen year old son of our fellow-citizen, Mr. P. 
E. Bergerie was claimed by His Maker. The lad had been a sufferer from a 
rupture for several weeks, unknown to his devoted father. Finding it 
necessary to give him surgical attention an operation was performed. A few 
days thereafter paralysis of the bowels set in from which he succumbed. On 
Monday afternoon at five o'clock he was buried from St. Peter's Catholic 
church by Rev. Father Langlois in the presence of a large concourse of 
grief-stricken relatives and friends. The Enterprise extends its sympathy to 
the broke-hearted father and near relatives.

June 24, 1920
Through the medium of the Enterprise I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation
to my friends and neighbors who rendered services during the illness and burial
of my son, Paul Emile Bergerie. Especially do I wish to thank Dr. Dauterive and
Rev. Father Langlois for all kindness rendered. To those who sent floral offerings
I also extend thanks.
