MRS. HENRY BERGES.

Died - At the residence of her sister, Mrs. J. E. Hitter, on St. Peter St., 
after an illness of five months, Mrs. Berges before her marriage was Sarah 
Laperouse, the eldest of the Laperouse family. She leaves besides her 
husband, four children, George, Odette, Louise and Louis, also four sisters 
and four brothers, Mrs. Jos. Hitter, Mrs. Jno. Conrad, Mrs. Alphonse Hitter, 
of this city and Mrs. George Broussard of Opelousas, La. Willis, Lionel and 
Valery Laperouse of this city and Walter Laperouse of Galveston, Texas.

The funeral services took place from St. Peter's Catholic Church on Monday, 
July 4th, in the forenoon, and was very largely attended by relatives and 
friends.
