The Weekly Iberian. (New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, August 17, 1901, Image 4

Mrs. A. A. Bernard aged 22 years after a severe illness died at her home at 2 P. 
M., Saturday last.

The remains were buried from the Methodist Church at 3 P. M. Sunday evening.

The IBERIAN extends to the bereved (sic) husband its heart-felt sympathy in his 
great sorrow.

NOTE: J. May Crews married Rev. Arthur Adolphe Bernard 28 Nov. 1900 in Iberia 
Parish, Louisiana [Mrg. #6406, page 389 {www.familysearch.org}].

She died abt 9 months after her marriage.
