Word was received Friday of the sad death of Miss Lizzie Besson, in 
Kerrville, Tex., yesterday afternoon at five o'clock.

It will be remembered that Miss Besson won the second choice of trips in ths 
(sic) ENTERPRISE LEADER contest of last Summer and that in consideration of 
her health, Miss Eugenie Lacour the winner of the first choice generously 
gave Miss Besson her chose the trip to Kerrville in the hope that it would 
result in restoring her to health.

It appears however that the dread disease had too great a hold upon her and 
that about two months ago she had reached such a point that she was unable 
to leave the house.
