1st. Obituary:

DIED: At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Maud Boudreaux, at Lafayette, La., 
on Tuesday, April 8th, 1913, at 7 o'clock A. M., Mrs. Sarah M. Boas, nee Ross, 
aged 70 years and 8 months. Interment was made at Catholic Cemetery in this city 
on Wednesday, forenoon.

2nd. Obituary:

Died. Mrs. Isaac Boas died at the residence of her son-in-law, 
Mr. L. M. Boudreaux, in Parkerson addition, this city, Tuesday at
8 a. m., aged 70 years and 8 months.

Mrs. Boas was a Miss Sara M. Ross before her marriage and was raised
near Plaquemine. She taught school at Loreauville for seventeen years
and also in Iberia parish. She was a most estimable lady and had hosts
of friends who will mourn her death. She came to Lafayette in 1898 to
live with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Boudreaux,
with whom she has resided since. She leaves besides Mrs. Boudreaux,
another daughter, Mrs. J. G. Dauterive, of this city, a sister,
Mrs. F. R. Allen, and a brother, Thos. L. Ross, of New Orleans.
Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic church
Wednesday at 9 a. m., and the remans (sic) were taken on No. 6
to New Iberia for interment.
