A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

A serious accident occured (sic) Thursday morning in Loreauville, when Mr. 
Ed Bonin, son of Mr. Gustave Bonin, was shot thru the abdomen by Mr. Love 
Dugas.

Mr. Dugas is a night watchman, and meeting Mr. Bonin early in the morning, 
was showing him his pistol. He said it was not loaded, and started snapping 
the trigger, in spite of Mr. Bonin's remonstrance.

It seems that one chamber of the cylinder was loaded, the pistol fired, and 
the bullet entered Bonin's abdomen, inflicting a terrible wound.

Medical attention was given in Loreauville at once, and he was then brought 
in the Dauterive's ambulance to the Sanitarium, where he is lingering 
between life and death.

Mr. Bonin has two small children, one not two weeks old.
