Died, at her late residence in the Fifth Ward of this Parish on last Monday at 
4 a. m., Mrs. J. B. Bourque, aged 56 years, after an illness of but a few 
days. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic Church on Tuesday at 
[smudge] a. m. and was attended by a very large number of relatives, friends 
and acquaintances. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery. The deceased was a 
lady of excellent qualities and was endeared by all who came in contact with 
her. She leaves a devoted husband, five daughters and three sons to mourn her 
untimely death. We extend our sincerest sympathies to the bereaved family.
