DIED: At her residence in New Iberia, on Saturday, May 25, 1901, at 9:45 o'clock 
A. M., Constance LeBlanc, widow of D. U. Broussard, aged 60 years and 4 months. 
The funeral took place from St. Peters Catholic Church, in New Iberia, on 
Saturday, May 25th, 1901, at 6 o'clock P. M. The IBERIAN extends its sympathies 
to the bereaved family.

After a long and painful illness, Mrs. D. U. Broussard died at her home, in this
place, this morning, aged 60 years and 4 months. Her remains will be buried from
the Catholic church, in New Iberia, this evening, at 6 o'clock. Deceased was a
loving and devoted mother who has reared a large family of sons and daughters, all
of whom do credit to the excellent teachings instilled into their minds and hearts
by the dear departed one whose loss they mourn. In their hour of sorrow, we extend
to them sincere sympathy.
