Died, at her residence on St. Peter Street in this City on Saturday, January 2th, 1919 at 12:40 P. M., Mrs. John Broussard, nee Leocade J. Gonsoulin. Deceased had been in failing health for several months. She was known throughout the Parish as a Christian woman and through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met in her way, her faith in God never wavered. She is mourned by three effectionate (sic) and devoted daughters and one son, namely, Misses Laurence, Melvina and Bessie and Mr. Robert F. Broussard. The funeral services was conducted by Rev. Langlois, rector of St. Peter's Catholic church on Sunday evening in the presence of a large concourse of sympathetic relatives and friends. The Enterprise voices the utterance of heartfelt sympathy of many friends.
