The death of Mrs. Paul Brown, nee Nettie May Maxfield, occured in New Orleans on Monday, Dec. 5th. She was 21 years of age, and a daughter of W. W. Maxfield, formerly of this city. The remains were brought to New Iberia, and interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, the services being conducted from the Methodist Church, at noon Wednesday. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Green of New Orleans, and Mrs. Smally of Crowley, and a brother, W. W. Maxfield, Jr., of New Orleans, all of whom attended the funeral, as did Messrs. H. E. Maxfield and A. P. Maxfield, of Lake Charles.
