(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, September 21, 1918, Image 5 A telegram reached Mrs. Paul Cordova on Wednesday chronicling the death of her mother, Mrs. Angelina Carraba of Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Carraba will be remembered by many of the residents here, having managed a small business for many years at the corner of Main and Weeks' streets. Some years ago, she removed to California with her young children. She leaves to mourn her death besides Mrs. Cordova, three married daughters and three sons, Messrs. Manuel, Charles, and Vincent who is now serving Uncle Sam in far off France. Deceased was a sister of Mr. Frank and Mr. Joe Briganti of New Iberia and Carlos and Sam, citizens of Los Angeles.
