Death visited the home of Mrs. C. C. Guilfoux yesterday, and claimed for its 
own all that was mortal of Mrs. Francoise Casanoba, her mother, at the ripe old 
age of 93 years and two months. Mrs. Casanoba had been confined to her bed for 
nearly seven long years, having suffered a broken hip, which seriously crippled 
the lady, and ever since has been a patient sufferer with but little complaint. 
She leaves to mourn her departure three daughters and one son, Mesdames 
Guilfoux, Verrier and Miss Marie Casanoba and Mr. Joseph Casonaba (sic). The funeral 
was held at the Catholic church on Saturday at 4 o'clock at St. Peter's 
Catholic church and was attended by sympathising (sic) friends and relatives.

DIED: At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Guilfoux, at 607 East St. Peter
street, on Friday, October 28th, 1910, at 6:20 o'clock p. m., Mrs. Francoise Casanoba,
born August 18th, 1817, native of Donaldsonville, La. The funeral took place from the
Catholic Church, Saturday afternoon, October 29th, at 4 o'clock.
