(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, September 18, 1915, Image 5 Sad news was received Sunday morning, Sept. 12th of the sudden death of G. C. Caulking of New Orleans, he leaves three grief-stricken children, Annie, Hiram and Emma Caulking, and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Krauss of New Orleans and two brothers, Jos. H. Caulking of New Orleans and Samuel R. Caulking of New Iberia. His wife Elizabeth McKern has been dead for eight years, and he followed her to the Great Beyond. He was born in New Orleans in the year 1878. The funeral services were held at the St. John's Catholic church in New Orleans Monday morning, Sept. 13th, 1915 after which hundreds of sympathetic friends escorted the remains to the Greenwood cemetery for the interment. The family have the sympathy of the community.
