Necrological.

Mrs. Geo. T. Colgin, nee Selina Segura, died at San Antonio, Texas on 
Thursday night.

Mrs. Colgin was a daughter of Raphael Segura of this parish. She was also a 
sister of Hon. H. P. Segura of New Iberia. Mrs. Colgin leaves a large family 
of children and a husband to morn her death, and a host of friends to 
sympathize with them. She was a resident of Iberia Parish all her life time 
up till a few months ago, when she went to Texas to seek better health.

The Iberian extends its heart felt sympathy to those stricken with grief.

We have been informed of the sad death at San Antonio, Texas, of Mrs. George 
Colgin, nee Segura, sister of Mr. Homer Segura of this town. The fell 
disease, consumption, but she met the inevitable with fortitude and 
confidence in an unswerving faith in a gright hereafter. Deceased was a 
member of one of our oldest families and leaves behind her husband and 
children to mourn her loss.
