(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, January 09, 1915, Image 5 Died, at his residence, 319 Weeks Street, this City, on Sunday, January 3d, 1915, at 1:40 o'clock A. M., Mr. Samuel T. Cooksley, a native of Paignton, England. Deceased had reached the age of 73 years and was a resident of New Iberia for upwards of twenty years where he raised a large family. The funeral was conducted from the Episcopal church, Rev. R. R. Diggs officiating in the presence of a large number of sympathetic friends. After the services were conducted the remains were borne to Berwick for interment. Additional Comments: NOTE: Samuel T. Cooksley's wife, Elizabeth Cooksley nee Linsey is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA.
