After a short illness of typhoid fever, Louis F. Cyr died on the morning of 
the 17th, at the residence of his brother, George Labau, in Hubertville, near 
Jeanerette, aged twenty-four years and six months. Being universally liked, he 
had a bright and promising future, and his many friends will be shocked to 
hear of this untimely death.
