Mrs. Ulger Decuir an old resident of New Iberia died at her residence in New 
Orleans Monday Aug 12th.

The remains were brought to the City Tuesday and buried in the Catholic 
Cemetary (sic) that evening at 5 P. M.

The venerable Mrs. Ulger Decuir, for many years a resident of New Iberia, and 
who with her family, removed to New Orleans a few years ago, died in that city 
on the 12th inst. Her remains were brought here for burial, the ceremony taking 
place from the Catholic church on Tuesday evening.

NOTE: Ulger Decuir married Sylvanie Decuir 11 Nov. 1840.
