The death at San Antonio, Texas. on Saturday, October 19th of Miss Angele C. Decuir from pneumonia was a shocking piece of news to her numerous friends and relatives in New Iberia. Miss Decuir was a daughter of the late Albert J. Decuir, and for several years had made San Antonio her home with several other sisters who survive her. The funeral was conducted at San Antonio from her residence at 1400 North Oregon St. the subsequent day. Those of her sisters who mourn her demise are Mrs. A. J. Suberbielle and Miss Julia Decuir of New Iberia, and Miss Julia Decuir of New Iberia, and Misses Alphonsine, Elise, Orelie and Jeanne of the aforementioned city. source: The Weekly Iberian.
