(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, May 30, 1914, Image 5 Died, at Loreauville on Friday, May 29th, 1914 at 9 o'clock A. M., the venerable Mr. Numa Decuir, birn in the year 1839. Mr. Decuir was a native of this Parish and served in the unpleasantness between the States as a gallant Confederate soldier and was admired and esteemed by all. Deceased was a brother-in-law of Mr. Joseph Camos of Loreauville and leaves to mourn his demise besides his widow, a number of children and grand-children. The funeral was held this morning at 10 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church in the presence of a large number of relatives and sympathetic friends.
