Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com February 9, 2017, 2:00 pm Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560 New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Linda Gonsoulin Delahoussaye, 73, who passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Linda was a very loving person. To know her was to love her. She was a true friend to all who needed her and she lived her life to serve others. She loved spending time with her family, and although she is gone now, her family has a lifetime of laughter and memories to cling to. Survivors include her daughter, Stacie Loyd and husband Kenneth of New Iberia; sons, Bryan Delahoussaye and wife Kim of Parks, Ivy Delahoussaye, Jr. and wife Kaye of St. Martinville; sister, Joyce Cartimiglia of New Iberia; grandchildren, Blake Loyarr and husband Josiah, Brooke Loyd and fiance' Kevin Hitter, Keagan Delahoussaye, Amber Delahoussaye; great grandchildren, Kate, and Braylee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Delahoussaye, Sr.; parents, Essie J. Boullion, Ellie D. Boullion, Hilda B. Lasseigne, and Cleven Gonsoulin; brothers, Ralph Dupuy, Lufiade Lasseigne, Jr.; sisters, Bernice Gachassin, and Betty Hebert. Pallbearers will be Bryan Delahoussaye, Ivy Delahoussaye Jr., Kenneth Loyd Jr., Stanley Boudreaux, Blake Loyarr, and Keagan Delahoussaye.
