DESIRE DELCAMBRE.

DIED, at his residence at Delcambre on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, 
the venerable Mr. Desire Delcambre, aged 70 years. Deceased had been 
confined to his bed for several monts (sic) and his demise was not 
unexpected. He was one of the pioneer citizens of that comunity and enjoyed 
the friendship of everybody. 

He leaves to mourn him several daughters, namely, Mrs. Homer Landry, Mrs. 
Fernand Landry, Mrs. Adam Delcambre, Mrs. Adonis Delcambre and Mrs. A. P. 
Bellair, all residents of the same comunity and a large number of grand-
children.

The funeral was held from the Catholic church at Delcambre on Friday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.
