(St. Martinsville [i.e. St. Martinville] La.) 1886-1948, November 17, 1906, Image 3 Dr. Gustave de Monsabert of Cade died suddenly in New Orleans Monday from heart disease. Dr. DeMonsabert had just married Miss Noemie Picheloupe of Cade, and was in New Orleans on a bridal trip and to visit his relatives, he was married only four days when stricken down by death. 2nd. Obituary: source: The Weekly Iberian. (New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, November 17, 1906, Image 3 Dr. Gustave de Mousabert died Monday morning at his old home in New Orleans. He had just returned to the Crescent City three days before with his bride from Cade, La., to spend their honeymoon, when he was stricken with heart disease. He had located at Cade as a physician. There he won the heart and hand of Miss Noemi Picheloupe and they were married last week. His remains were laid to rest in the St. Louis Cemetery at New Orleans.
