JOHN DESLATTE. - Died, at his residence in the Seventh Ward of Iberia Parish 
on Saturday, December 25th, 1920 at 8:30 o'clock P. M., Mr. John Deslatte in 
his 66th year. Mr. Deslatte was a worthy citizen of the Parish and followed 
the occupation of an agriculturist in the Ward where he resided. He took up 
his residence here about twenty years ago. He was a native of Bayou 
Lafourche and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He reared a family of 
eleven sons and daughters, Messrs. Robert, Ben, Jean, Rena, Misses Cecelia 
and Odette and Mesdames L. R. Robicheaux, A. Robicheaux, A. Gautreaux, A. 
David and L. Gary who survive his memory. Deceased was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus Order of this City and a large number followed his 
remains to their last resting place after the funeral ceremonies were 
concluded at St. Peter's Catholic church on Tuesday afternoon at three 
o'clock.

kindness on the oart of our neighbors and friends during the illness and
death of our beloved father, John Deslatte, which occurred on Dec. 25th, 1920.
