Accidental Shooting.

Last Saturday Alphe Domingue, a young man living in this parish, near 
Patoutville, went hunting for grosbeck. A cartridge became jammed in one of 
the barrels of his gun and could not be removed. When attempting to take the 
gun out of his buggy later this shell was discharged, the shot took effect 
in his left arm, shattering it.

He was taken to his home and a physician summoned, but the surgeon did not 
arrive till the next morning. The patient died two hours later. He was 
buried from the Catholic Church at Patoutville on Monday. He leaves a bride 
of five months to mourn the result of this horrible accident.
