(New Iberia, La.) 1885-1902, April 21, 1900, Image 3 After lingering for several months from aneurism (sic) of the heart, Mr. Caesar (sic) Dreyfus, a most estimable young citizen of New Iberia, died at the family residence on the 14th inst., aged 27 years. He was a brother of the prominent merchants, Messrs. Jules and Leon Dreyfus. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and of the Knights of Pythias and the local lodges of these orders proceeded in a body to the home of the deceased and paid a last tribute to their departed brother. The body of deceased was taken to New Orleans for burial, accompanied by members of the family and delegations from the above orders.
