Died: at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Gates, in the city of New 
Orleans, La. Widow H. Dubus, aged 57 years, 1 month and 4 days. The funeral 
took place from St. Peters Catholic Church in New Iberia on, May 30, 1903, at 
4:30.

This week also brings its record of deaths, among those reported is that of widow H.
Dubus, which occurred at New Orleans, yesterday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Fred
Gates, her age was 57 years. Deceased was the mother of our popular citizens Mr. Gaston
Dubus and Mr. Jules Dubus, the well known machinist, also of Mrs. Fred. Gates. She was
the widow of the late Judge Jules Dubus, a worthy citizen who died some years ago. Mrs.
Dubus remains were brought here for interment.
