(New Iberia, La.) 1902-1944, February 07, 1903, Image 3 Died, at his residence, in New Iberia, on Thursday last at 11 oclock A. M., Henry F. Duperier, in his 42d year. Deceased was a native of this town, being a son of Dr. Frederick Duperier, one of the oldest families of the Attakapas, and the founders of our city, he had been a sufferer from numerous ailments for years, and although but in the prime of life as respects to age, yet his robust constitution succumbed to disease. He was a prominent member of the Knight of Honor at this place who performed the funeral services of the order over the body of their brother in the solemn and impressive manner laid down in their ritual. Following which, the burial services were conducted at the Catholic Church. Deceased leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss. The funeral was largely attended by friends and relatives and the brethren of the order of which he was an honored member.
