At her residence, in Iberia Parish, near this city, on Thursday, February 22, 1917, at 10 o'clock p. m., Mrs. P. A. Dupuy, nee Julia Monique Mestayer, born October 15, 1846. Deceased was a native of this parish. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss four sons, Paul, Edouard, Louis and Gaston Dupuy, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Young, three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Darby, Mrs. Zenon Decuir, and Mrs. John Greig, one brother, Mr. Adolphe Mestayer, of Alexandria, and a large number of relatives. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic Church on yesterday evening at 3 o'clock. source: New Iberia Enterprise and Independent Observer. Mrs. Dupuy leaves to mourn her demise besides her devoted husband, several children, Messrs. Paul, Edward, Louis and one daughter, Mrs. Fred Young and one brother, Mr. Adolphe Mestayer of Alexandria and three sisters, Mrs. Zenon Decuir, Mrs. Oscar Darby and Mrs. John Greig all of New Iberia. The remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery after the funeral services which was conducted by Rev. Langlois yesterday afternoon.
