Creamer marykcreamer@yahoo.com December 31, 2018, 5:00 pm source: Special to the Picayune New Iberia, La., Jan. 3 - Theodore Bland Fitzhugh, a native of Fauquier county, Virginia, and a resident of this locality since 1870, died to-day at 2 p.m. Mr. Fitzhugh was 81 years of age, a citizen highly respected by all who knew him and a man pure and upright in all the walks of life. H was a confederate veteran, devoted to the cause which he fought bravely to maintain. He was an active and earnest member of Aurora Lodge 33 F. and A. M. His funeral will take place at 3 p.m. tomorrow. The Masons will act as honorable escort to the church of the Epiphany where the funeral ceremony will be held. source: The Weekly Messenger.
