The death last Tuesday, October 9th at 9:15 P. M. of Mr. Firman W. Folse was a shock to many of his relatives and friends. While the gentleman was in bad health for the past year, hopes were entertained that he would recover from his ailment which confined him to his home. Mr. Folse was a native of St. Mary parish and came to our City to accept employment with the P. L. Renoude Lumber Co. as saw filer where he was employed up to the time of his illness. He enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him and was a member of Cypress Camp No. 34 of New Iberia. His remains were escorted to Patterson where they were interred in the family burial ground. Deceased leaves to mourn his demise a grief-stricken widow and two young daughters.
