On Monday morning, May 24th, at his home in Franklin, William Prescott 
Foster. He was born in 1853. In 1878 he married Miss Nina Hamilton Marsh and 
is survived by his widow, two sons, M. J. Foster, U. S. N., and T. J. 
Foster; and three daughters, Mrs. J. T. Eves of this city, Mrs. W. R. Gates, 
and Mrs. A. J. Delahoussaye; and three brothers, former Senator Murphy J. 
Foster, J. W. Foster and Dr. D. N. Foster. He was also a brother of the late 
T. Don Foster, formerly of this city and Judge of the 19th Judicial District 
Court. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning at Franklin, from the 
Episcopal Church. He was a member of the order of Knights of Pythias.
