(New Iberia, La.) 1894-1946, December 03, 1910, Image 2 DIED: At his residence, 132 West St. Peters street, this city, at 7:30 P. M., November 28th, 1910, Judge T. Don Foster. Born May, 1856. Judge Foster was born in St. Mary parish and was the fourth son of five brothers and two daughters. After completing his law studies, he located at Alexandria in 1886, where he married Miss Sallie Manning, daughter of the late Chief Justice Manning of this State. In 1888 he moved to this city to make his home and to practice his profession. In 1889 he entered a co- partnership with Hon. R. F. Broussard, and this law firm of Foster & Broussard continued until the death of Mr. Foster. In 1890 he was appointed District Attorney of the 19th Judicial District by Governor Nichollis. Later he was elected Judge of the District. his remains were taken to Franklin for interment in the family burial grounds.
