Died, at his residence at Cades, La., on Sunday, October 29th, 1916 at 5:30 
o'clock P. M., Mr. Eugena Fremin, born Feb. 21st, 1872. Mr. Fremin had been 
in wretched health for several months and suffered excruciating pains from 
an incurable affliction. His funeral from St. Peter's Catholic church on 
Monday last was a testimonial of the esteem in which he was held in this 
Parish. He leaves besides his widow, two children, Mr. Sentny Fremin and a 
daughter, Mrs. Clemire Lopez also of Cades and seven living brothers, one of 
whom is our Assessor-elect Mr. Fremin. The family have the sympathy of a 
large circle of friends and relatives.
